E-commerce Platform
An e-commerce platform connecting Lithuanian farmers, small producers and consumers in a single digital environment. The system supports direct sales of products and services without intermediaries, giving buyers access to local, high-quality and authentic products from across Lithuania.
The platform offers food products, artisan goods, educational activities, accommodation and other regional services, strengthening short supply chains and the local economy.

The challenge
The task
The challenge was to create a modern online marketplace that would be convenient for both small producers and end consumers.
The system had to simplify product administration, present sellers and services clearly, and support a smooth purchasing process. It was also important to enable farmers and regional businesses to manage their own content and reach customers without additional intermediaries.
At the same time, the platform needed a clear structure that made it easy to browse different product categories, certified products and regional services.

Project results
The project included an analysis of the websites and e-shop processes administered by the Agriculture Agency, together with their functional and technical requirements. A centralised, unified CMS platform and its functional and technical architecture were designed. System modules were developed and configured, integrations with payment, delivery, mapping and other external systems were implemented, and the technical infrastructure was prepared and configured. Website and e-shop data and content were migrated to the new platform. Public interfaces, customer and supplier self-service functionality, and a centralised administration environment were implemented. Functional, integration, security, performance and acceptance testing was completed; the system was deployed to test and production environments and operated in pilot mode. System administration, user and training documentation was prepared, administrator and user training was delivered, consultations were provided, and warranty maintenance and defect resolution were ensured.
