The challenge
The task
A municipal website must meet very different user needs—from everyday information for residents to official administrative processes and public communications.
The requirement was a clear, easy-to-use online platform capable of managing a large volume of frequently updated content while providing fast access to the most important information.
The solution also needed to work across devices, improve information structure and simplify content administration for municipal staff.

The result
Mažeikiai municipal portal
The portal enables Mažeikiai District Municipality to manage public information centrally and make it accessible to residents and businesses.
Project results
The project included an analysis of Mažeikiai District Municipality’s website requirements and current situation, functional and technical design, UX/UI design concepts, development of the website and content management system, and implementation of integrations. Test and production environments were prepared, followed by system deployment, internal and acceptance testing, migration of content from the previous website, pilot operation, user guides, administration documentation and training materials, as well as remote administrator training. Following handover, long-term warranty maintenance and support were planned, covering incident resolution, consultation and continued system operation.
